Surfing Legend

One of the guys that changed the Big wave surfing was Gregg Noll. He is a surfing legend that rode to fame in the halcyon days of the 1950s and 60s.Greg Noll is often considered the most famous big wave surfers in the world.He was born in San Diego in 1937, and grew up near Manhattan Beach, California.

One of the legendary stories about Noll occurred in December of 1969, when he surfed what is known as one of the largest waves anybody had ever surfed.
